solo wild: steel / ground / fighting

mika enters granite cave, her hair tied back into a ponytail, a sweat band keeping her blue fringe swept back. she is accompanied by a certain trio of pokemon: lycanroc, lucario, and eelektross. this cave is renowned for housing some tough pokemon, and she wanted to give some of her most venerable battling pokemon a chance to shine. lycanroc and lucario had become familiar presences at her side, the canine pokemon working well with their trainer to be as efficient and attentive as possible. [break][break]

as far as eelektross is concerned, today's outing is a chance to let loose, and indulge in the physical act of battle as much as possible. mika keeps a special eye on that pokemon, in particular, but isn't too worried otherwise. [break][break]

solo wild: steel / ground / fighting

a varoom. these pokemon tended to be aggressive, so mika saw it in her best interest to leave it alone, for now. she had enough bloodthirsty pokemon as it is. [break][break]

instead, she lets eelektross tussle with varoom, knocking it out and paralyzing it with a single electric-type attack. then she moves on, further into the cave where more pokemon await. [break][break]

solo wild: steel / ground / fighting

the rumbling beneath their feet belongs to none other than a steelix, the metal snake pokemon burrowing through the ground. mika spots part of their helical structure sticking out from the soft earth, but tells her pokemon to avoid it for now. she already has a steelix and isn't in any rush to look for another one soon. [break][break]

but the rumbling makes the cave more active and the pokemon on high alert. mika chances another pokemon encounter, but is ready to head back even if the next one proves to be fruitless, as well. [break][break]

a whirling sandaconda appears as granite cave continues to shake from the steelix's earlier movements. mika considers catching it for a moment, before deciding against the action. she turns to her companions and motions for them to leave. at once, her and her pokemon double back the way they came, out into the daylight outside of granite cave.
